Industry Partners are vital to preparing Yampa Valley youth for the workforce. We invite you to partner with YVPS3 as a part of our Career Connections platform. Career Connections is a region-wide platform to expand work-based learning opportunities throughout the region. It will provide equal access to pathway-aligned WBL opportunities for all students across the region. For industry partners on the platform, all school districts, teachers and students in the region will be able to view the ways that you/your business would like to help the emerging workforce learn about your career field - from participating in a career panel to hosting an intern.
By registering as an Industry Partner on Career Connections you are letting us know that you are interested in being a part of developing our local talent pipeline. You will hear from YVPS3 and potentially teachers and staff within our collaborative (Steamboat Springs, Hayden, South Routt and Moffat County School Districts.
As an industry partner, you benefit from work-based learning (WBL) by developing a ready talent pipeline, ensuring a workforce with aligned skills and qualifications for specific jobs. Other advantages include access to diverse talent, the ability to pre-screen potential hires, and the chance to shape curriculum to meet industry needs.
