Work with RMYC and a team of interns to construct a tiny home over the summer. Experience all aspects of residential construction and hone your constructions skills over a 9 week summer build. *RMYC Building Trades Summer Program is being conducted through Rocky Mountain Youth Corps funded in part by YVPS3. YVPS3 is seeking a motivated high school intern to serve as a Marketing and Youth Engagement Coordinator. This position offers hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and career development outreach. The intern will build out our website, expand our social media outreach, and will play a key role in helping YVPS3 connect with young people across the region through creative and engaging strategies. Intern will work primarily remotely, with weekly meetings with YVPS3 ED, and working in person with other interns and businesses to capture intern experiences and Day In the Life videos throughout the region.

The Hayden Granary is seeking an intern to assist in running the Wild Goose coffee shop, including day to day operations and enhancing social media. Additionally the intern will assist in programming and support of the Hayden Granary, a nonprofit that supports the community with activities including Barn Dances.

The Municipal Services Internship gives students hands‑on experience in how a small town operates, with opportunities to support both Town Office administration and Public Works. Interns may help with basic office tasks, records, and customer service, as well as assist Public Works staff with routine work in roads, parks, facilities, and water/sewer operations. This internship offers a well‑rounded introduction to local government, combining practical field experience with administrative skills in a supportive, team‑oriented environment in Yampa, CO. This role is ideal for students interested in public administration, community operations, or local government careers.

Learn about permaculture as a design system that creates spaces that promote the health and vitality of both people and nature. Work as a member of a team of Bear Park employees to plan and implement garden designs and growing systems, both outdoors and indoors. Work with living plants and systems such as fruit trees, vegetable gardens, pollinator gardens, and aquaponics ponds. Work with members of the public and local groups who visit and work on the site. Requires some physical labor such as lifting, carrying, and digging.

Interested in construction management and overseeing residential construction? Spend the summer as an intern at Rivertree Construction to learn the ins and outs of construction management. If you are bilingual - pair learning about construction management with boots on the ground working with construction crews to build a house for a full time summer internship.

The Community Agriculture Alliance Agriculture & Food Systems Fellowship provides an immersive introduction to Northwest Colorado’s regional food system and agricultural landscape. The fellow will gain hands-on experience working alongside Yampa Valley Foods (YVF) producer partners, processors, and industry partners. Through coordinated fieldwork, facility tours, and hands-on learning opportunities through Yampa Valley Foods, the fellow will develop a holistic understanding of local food systems — from production and processing to distribution and direct-to-consumer sales. The program offers practical exposure to season planning, field operations, livestock management, and natural resource stewardship, equipping the fellow with the knowledge and experience to contribute meaningfully to a resilient local food economy.

Join Giovanni Construction this summer as a Intern Field Coordinator. The Intern Field Coordinator assists and supports the Superintendent and Project Manager on assigned projects. The position works under direct supervision of the Project Manager. The Intern Field Coordinator must be able to work independently but also succeed as part of the project team. The responsibilities of the Intern Field Coordinator include being a representative for the Company for construction operations and requires an understanding of construction methods, procedures and administrative processes, excellent documentation skills and good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all members of the project (both internal and external). The Intern Field Coordinator must be a flexible and adaptable team player.

Camera repair/install both inside and outside.
